Study

The two Bachelor's modules of the Chair of Human Resource Management and Organization "BWiWi 1.3 Organization and Corporate Management" and "BWiWi 2.1 Organization" as well as the Master's module "MWiWi 8.1 Management and Action" each consist of a weekly lecture and an accompanying weekly tutorial.

In addition to teaching basic theories, concepts and empirical findings, the lectures focus on discussing interrelationships. The didactic variety is great. There are many discussions with the students and they also regularly have the opportunity to test their learning progress via smartphone during the lectures. The accompanying interactive exercises enrich the complexity of the content with case studies, exercises and research findings.

The examination takes place as part of a final exam at the end of each semester.

The department also offers regular Bachelor's and Master's seminars. These teach academic work based on a current topic from the field of management. Research and evaluation of scientific literature as well as the independent writing of a scientific paper are taught. The examination is based on a seminar paper and a presentation.

In addition, students have the opportunity to write a thesis at our department every semester. Regular, intensive support is provided through the assignment of a supervisor.
